my new rimmel lipstick

after weeks of eyeing, aiming, considering and calculating, i finally bought this. it's rimmel colour show off in red fever. i'm on fever.

this is not a finish lipstick but still i based it with lip balm, because i don't have that lip primer, but i don't mind as long as my lips are conditioned. great colour, non-drying (maybe because of the lip balm), and the colour is just great! well, i just need a reward for myself. i've been working hard, didn't i? thank God it was on sale that time.

Bobbi Brown : Makeup Manual & Beauty Rules

When my interest in makeup started, I was searching high and low for reading materials on makeup artistry. Of course u can always try to look on makeup tutorials online, but it wasn't good enough for me. While I was browsing through the Bobbi Brown website, this book captured my eyes. I've search the book at local major book stores in PJ. But not successful. So my last try is Kinokuniya, KLCC. Lucky me there's only one unit left and I rushed to ask my sister to bought it for me after she finished work.

I really find this book really fulfill my need and hunger that I seek for all this time.As for beginners like, the book is so much fun to read. I mean, just look at the step by step illustrations and all. How can u not like it and started to do it on your own.  I think I kinda like Bobbi Brown makeup style. Not over the top. Natural. And the best part is, the makeup represents you and not somebody else.

This book is released into the market recently. Of course I immediately inform  my sister to look for this book at Kinokuniya. Even though this book was targeted for the teens , it is quite suitable and useful for the adults too. This book offers useful and easy tips on how to approach makeup.

Conclusion: Go and get this 2 books at Kinokuniya. I bet you will really enjoyed reading it and really  helps you to understand the makeup itself.

NYX: Makeup artist kit S101

This is one of the palette that I bought recently. Bought it online around last month I guess. When I got my hands on it, I was stunned for a while.I don't really think that palette can amuse me before this. But when I have it, I can't even blink my eyes and just can't wait to run my fingers on each of the colours. I think I'm goin to bring this palette when celebrating Hari Raya at Kedah. But instead, I bring my other palette coz' I really want to take my own sweet time lingering and admiring on the new palette. The palette goes straight to my makeup storage box and not even my sisters knew bout' it. Maybe in couple of weeks I'm goin to do some experiment with it. For now, let me introduce to u guys again to this gorgeous palette of mine.:D

NYX Round Lipstick in Snow White (LSS569)

hello, i'm your new lipstick reviewer. haha! just kidding. lately i'm so crazy over red lipstick. yeah, real red lipstick. i have now 5 of them. so i'm going to review the 5th red lipstick i just got yesterday. it's NYX Round Lipstick LSS569 Snow White. some of you might have used it much more earlier than me and knows very well about this lipstick but i still want to review it too. :P

it doesn't glide smoothly on your lips if applied directly. so it must be some kind of finish lipstick. besides the colour is more like plump red than red, and makes your lips feel dry right away. so i wiped it off with baby wipe, and applied nivea lip care strawberry first and top it with the red lipstick. also i have to apply it using brush so the result will be neat and even. you can directly glide it on top of the lip balm but the colour will be so dark i got scared to see my own lips. plus the intention is to make your lips look sexy and fresh, not scary and dead.

like this. at first, i was disappointed with this lipstick. but after the treatment, i began to love it and yes i do love it! it's just a finish lipstick so nothing's really disappointing about that only you have to bring like three things for your lips (the base lipstick, the finish lipstick and a brush). i had a bad intention due to the disappointment that i would make it a toy lipstick, but i changed my mind, the lipstick is approved and it will be taken seriously. XD

i love collecting mugs!

i always got to find the time to get my favourite stuff anywhere i go. bought these mugs from a shop in Kulim, Kedah, called Ceria 99. since i'm a loyal mug collector, so i brought home these three chosen mugs to join in the society. yes, all mugs are carefully choosen to fit in the mug society of mine. :)

sweet, sweet indian sweets

after eating a whole banana leaf of rice and some indian side meals, i was quite hesitating to get the sweets for desserts. but, knowing that i have a sweet tooth, i decided to get them, not one, but three!

the square one is mysore pak, the round one is......ummmm......ladu i guess and that half banana shaped (i ate half of it on my way home) i don't know what it's named but it tastes really good, a mix of milk and banana flavour!! but i tell you, it was really hard to finish them all, when you're already stuffed with heavy meals although i have cut them into small pieces so i can share them with my whole family, but the sweetness and milkiness made it hard. but believe me, these sweets are delicious!

maybe i watched the nanny too much. maybe i fell too much in love with fran fine (and of course the vintage style!), because now i'm crazy over red lipstick. friends who know me, i won't blame them for being shocked. but i love what i love, and i'll stick to that.

below is me, wearing rimmel london's lasting finish lipstick code 170 alarm. it's the perfect red lipstick that i've been imagining of having.

vintage hotel for vintage lovers

i stumbled upon this hotel, named Eastern & Oriental Hotel while on my way to Padang Kota Lama in Georgetown, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. It's more amazing (and more stunning at night) in reality but i actually just passed through it. but i made a promise to myself (it's more to a mission, actually) that one day, i will stay a night or two at that beautiful hotel!
